Wow...holy wow. It's hard to believe that 6 years ago I created this forum. We've gone through good times, bad time, hard times....SLOW times. But we're still here, and we still continue to be active. I consider that an accomplishment. =D It all started from a nice flamewar at NSider in February of 2005. Ah, the memories...my extreme 13-year-old immaturity caused me to spam a thread called "The Animal Crossing Ask Center" with stuff about how it "was against the rules". Looking back, even if it WAS against the rules, it wasn't really any of my business haha. But after the flamewar was done, StormTrooper88888 asked me if I wanted to join an InvisionFree forum called "The Bell Tree". I did, and after looking around I thought "Wow...this is cool. I'll make my own Nintendo forum!" And the rest is history. TNZ has had many awesome honors. We've risen in popularity to become the 2nd largest Nintendo IF forum at one time, and we are credited with starting "Smash Camp", the famed multi-forum camp (which I'm gonna try to actually get us in this year). But what really makes this forum is the awesome people I've seen come and go over the years. Flames, Meta, Yoshi, Troy, Wailmer, Xan, Llama, B.A.M., Lavos, TXCN....even if this forum was to die for good, the memories I have had here would never die. Thank you so much everyone, you don't know how much it means to me. Let's continue the awesomeness til we're wrinkly and old.  Oh, and refreshments are over there. |

Hurrah! Grats, guys---guess we did it. Obviously, you'd have to be foolish to not admit that we're certainly nowhere near our peak---but does that really matter? Like you said, the nostalgia will never be gone. On the note of the multi-forum camp...did that even occur last year? I don't think it was just we weren't invited, I think there was nothing to be invited to---but I could be wrong. Anyways, here's to another six years of who-knows-what. |

Couldn't have said it better myself Troy. We've been so worried about activity as of late, and how how we aren't what we used to be. We need to just stop talking about it, and continue with our TNZ-ing goodness. I guarantee that if we just focus on continuing to have fun and enjoying being here, the rest will follow through. wow, it's pretty crazy to think that tnz has been around this long well, activity has been up quite a lot for the past 2 or 3 days, so hopefully that will continue to happen! |
