Yeah, usually science experiments are bleedingly boring, forcing you to go over a lab paper, do a bunch of seemingly pointless things with objects/chemicals, and then have to answer a bunch of questions on a worksheet. But sometimes, experiments can be fun. So...the topic of this thread is, what's the coolest science experiment you've ever done in school?

I did this one last year in chemistry class, called the methane mamba. Basically, we put bubbles of methane gas in our hands, then our teacher used a lighter, which caused the bubbles to go on fire and allowed us to hold fire in our hands! It didn't hurt, because we dipped our hands in water first. And I was surprised that it didn't light the roof either haha.

I made a video of the highlights from that experiment, which can be found below. It was on Youtube before, but yeah. Rate/Comment/Subscribe!

I told my chem teacher about this and she just shook her head, we'd never be able to do that.
We did the same bubble thing in gr9 but our teacher just did it at the front of the class, we had him do it a second time and he used more bubbles and now there's a burn mark in the ceiling in that room.
