Wow...just wow. 5 whole years of TNZ. It's been a long, fun road, filled with a lot of fun memories. I remember first creating TNZ. I had been on NSider at the time, which was my first and only forum. Then a friend invited me to his InvisionFree forum, and I was amazed. People could actually CREATE their own forums? The very next day, I went on the InivisionFree website, and decided to create one of my own. I named it after a very poor and unsuccessful video game walkthrough site I had created, Nintendo Zone. Except it couldn't just be any Nintendo Zone. It had to be THE Nintendo Zone. Invited one of my close friends at the time, WailmerBoy1023, who you all now know as Wailmer. And thus, we became the first members of TNZ! And from there, a lot of fun began. I remember when TNZ was just a little hangout for me, Wailmer, and a couple others who no longer go here. Then I remember the turning point when we began to gain a lot of members, such Meta and Flames. I remember advertising TNZ on a now dead forum, and thus getting Yoshi to join. I remember all the forum wars we once had with NF and TBT. I remember TNZ getting hacked near our 1 year anniversary, and how everyone rallied together to help me rebuild the forum. I remember when Troy joined, that silly little kid. And most of all, I remember...damn, I ran out of things to say.  But the point is, we've had good time, tough times, but we've always stuck through. Of all the forums I've been too, and believe me, I've been to a lot, I've never seen such a tight-knit community. I am proud to say I run this forum, and hope to see it continue to prosper. Thank you. |
