Your just a stepping stone and im moving up

So i finally got one off ebay so I can go on wifi on my ds and internet on my wii. I installed the software and crap. So now im guessing I have to go download the wifi usb connector crap from the nintendo site. I try to install that and when it says "please connect your usb connector" i do and nothing happens. Ive waited for 5 mins and nothing happens. Is the one bought not compatible with the ds/wii? Its made by a company known as Ralink. |

um if you are running vista then you need to install the update... if not there maybe some internet things you need to change on your computer, or with your anti virus... i find those things more of a pain than they are worth... get a wireless router and set it up for a key that the DS will accept |

Something else I forgot to mention. I installed the software for that adapter right? Then after I did a search for access points a new popped up which im guessing is the result of my installing it. Unfortunately its not working cause when I go test the connection it doesnt work. Anyone shed some light on this? Im sorry but im really not computer savy. |

I'm guessing its because you bought a third party connecter, and the program is meant for the official usb connecter. Did anything try to install when you plugged the connecter into your comp? |

Wait a moment. Somehow that access is point is magically working. I tried going on wifi on one of my ds games and my wii is actually doing the system update. Hopefully it stays working. |
