Chronologically I'd say the following games changed my life in many many ways, I'm curious to see what you'd say about your list, and how you'd think they'd effect you.

1: Super Mario Bros
2: Tetris
3: Super Mario World/Donkey Kong Country
4: Uniracers
5: Goldeneye
6:Mario Kart 64
7:Tony Hawks Pro Skater
8: Banjo Kazooie
9: Dance Dance Revolution
10: Super Smash Bros: Melee
11: Final Fantasy X
12: Halo 1
13: Unreal Champtionship (Xbox)
14: Halo 2

I'd say that those games have influenced me the most over the years.... I used to play SMB facing away from the TV, watching the game in the reflection of the window when I was a youngin. My dad and I would compete in Tetris and Super Mario Bros when I was growing up. Super Mario World and Donkey Kong made me see games differently, and I wanted to 100% complete them. Uniracers got me into trick/racing games... which later drew me to Tony Hawk. Goldeneye brought FPS games into my radar. Showing that pure skill can be translated to a game. Mario Kart 64 made me appreciate casual games. Tony Hawks Pro Skater brought me back to the Goldeneye competitiveness. Trying to beat your friend in the game by getting a LOT better in the game. Banjo Kazooie made me realize how expansive, and interesting a virtual world can be (I hadn't played SM64 yet by this point.) Dance Dance Revolution made me realize the fame that can be gained from a video game, and how you through networking because of a video game can make you meet all sorts of new people, and open up new opportunities because of it. I still play DDR today (a good 9 years later...) Super Smash Bros Melee brought me into serious competitive gaming, I'd hold tournaments at my house, and try to get a lot of people into this game to play against. Final Fantasy X was my first RPG and first game with an amazing story line that I played. Halo 1. I'm on this forum, I moved to Florida, I've made hundreds of friends, and learned how a simple game can go a LONG way. Unreal Championship was my first online game, furthering that networking aspect of gaming. Halo 2 I formed a team for MLG, never ended up going to the competition, but it was still the training experience and meeting all these new people changed my life. I learned that there's a time to be serious in gaming, and a time to just realize that it's a game. I drove from FL to NC to meet someone that I met on Halo 2. Halo 2's online showed me that these people that I'm networking with online are more than just a voice on a headset.

Since that I haven't really grown much as a gamer, at least... not enough to be able to look back on it and reflect upon it. I know that I'm a lot more chill now than I was during my Halo 2 days, but after Halo 2 I kinda... I dunno, I kinda just stuck with Halo 2 for a long time. I've, of course, played tons of stuff since then, but nothing really stands out the way the games I listed do to me.

I liek pie
1. Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast)
2. Sonic Adventure 2 (Dreamcast)
3. Quake
4. Diablo
5. Super Mario 64
6. Halo Series

Sonic Adventure was the first game i had ever beaten (although i did use a guide and knowledge of my friend)
Sonic adventure 2 although was the first game i had ever preordered and i beat w/o any help from friend or guide and i beat it before anyone else had time to gloat or make a guide online XD

Quake was the first FPS i had ever played and it definitely changed the way i saw game violence...F'IN AWESOME!!! lolz

Diablo 1&2 were the first RPG's i had ever played and i beat both of them without any other help including getting the best equipment for the entire game for barbarian and sorceress with the 1.11 update (with major help from the DC Clan) although the highest lvl i ever reached was 92 :( lolz, it also taught my VG teamwork

Super Mario 64 was a bitch to 100% but i did it lolz and i had fun doing it the 2nd time then learning how to do the 30 min speed run lolz (my 2nd ever speed run)

The halo series were really my most competetive game i have ever played on a game console lolz, and still are for me today, also caused my to have to change the way i play (like more strategically)

What I miss?
Basically, all the games in the Zelda series have really impacted my gaming. Ever since I played those and had a real good time 100%ing them, I've developed myself as an adventure/puzzle lover. Got me into everything from Mario to Tetris.

Another game that helped develop my gaming was the original Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis. This helped me develop my liking for platformers.

And Halo 2 needs to be on that list, of course. My favorite Halo game, got me into FPS. Not to mention how freakin' sweet all those vehicles you can ride are.
