Playing RPGs and Shooters are much easier on the PC, because you can personalize the game with hotkeys and whatnot. It's also easier to mod and whatnot (for mod-community games like Sauerbraten). Not to mention graphics, even though they don't effect the games. |

I can already see the ending!

Yeah, I agree. RPGs and FPSs are easier on the PC. I love me some hotkeys. lol. I don't really play many fps's anymore though. I mostly just used the multiplayer on them when my uncle had a LAN party. As for rpg's, I tend to stick to mmo's. |

I like the convenience of console games in the fact that it's.. put it in and go. Your game works the same as your friends and you don't have to worry about your video or sound card having problems with the game you're playing. All too often for me when I play PC games I get about 50% of the experience. The rest is lost to tech problems. You don't really get that on a console. Plus, the online system in a lot of console games (minus Ninty's) is setup a lot better than PC games. Easier to play with friends, and easier to TALK to them (supported voice chat ftw, ventrilo/teamspeak sucks.) Handheld games... their convenience is pretty obvious... haha. I am at school more often than is probably healthy for me, and to be able to run through a chunk of a game during a break or something at school is nice. |
