Has anyone here ever thought about what is going to happen when they all evetually die and new staff comes in? I mean what will happen to certain series? Will the games be made differently or what? How would the new staff know what to do and how to keep the same mind set on certain series with its creator gone? Like Miyamoto for example. |

Miyamoto can't die. Didn't you know, he's a cyber genetic android created by Nintendo and programmed to produce some lush games. Unfortunatly, his programming has gone a bit haywire recently, and his creator died a few years ago. No-one else on the planet has the IQ to fix this problem, so Miyamoto-bot's ability to create good games is slowly breaking down. |

Twisted- ...*sniff* Actual topic- I think that Ninty's already starting to change, focusing a bit more on the Wii series and other casual games than the main franchises for the most part. I don't think the franchises will ever die, per se, but I bet they'll definitely be changed in some way or another when new peeps come in. |

Well, it's not like the staff will continue working there until they die. They will retire first, passing the torch to people they see fit. Miyamoto, for example, will probably give Mario and his other franchises to a younger game designer who has worked firsthand with him in designing games, therefore he would know Miyamoto's style. And then that person will pass it down to another, etc. The ideas for the series will always live, long after everyone on the Nintendo staff is dead. This is probably what I will do when I get too old and busy to be at TNZ. |
