Has anyone picked this up yet? I'd like to know some peoples opinions on it, because of all the average ratings its been getting. And yikes, I need to get rid of this Halo theme garbage I have going. |

I don't have it yet, but I plan on getting it on Christmas. I'll be sure to let you know around then. Still, a 6.5 from IGN? Sheesh, even Gamespot scored it higher than IGN. That's practically unheard of. And good idea getting rid of the Halo theme. Seriously. |

Well I'm not very fond of Gamespot, so I mostly ignore their reviews. And Nintendo Power gave it a 9.0, but I don't trust them a lot of times either, because they seem a little biased. |

Gamespot, actually, I usually don't trust because they're really harsh. Hence my shock with NiGHTS. But I agree with you about Nintendo Power; usually they are a little biased. |

Nintendo Power is too generous. <_< IGN score's is surprising though. Knowing IGN, I'd think they'd give it at least a 7. |

I personally think this game is going to sell like shit in America. The first NiGHTS is more of an underground game (face it, it was on a failure of a console and not many people know of it's existence), and it looks like the PS2 port is Japan only. The reviews aren't going so well, either. I don't really read Nintendo Power reviews anymore since even they didn't give Mario Galaxy a 10 when they should've created a whole new scale, called 1 to Fucking Awesome, and given Galaxy a Fucking Awesome/Fucking Awesome. Nintendo Power is unreliable and should not be taken seriously. |

Reviews are actually very decent ones. Mostly 7s. Which is good. For Sonic Team's standards currently. Of course it's not gonna sell well. I think if Sega keep on making decent games, Nights will get popular eventually then. |

Yeah, I heard that NiGHTS is getting harsh reviews. Probably because the bar was set really high, apparently though, it's still a good game

You know, I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said right there. Well put. Anyway, even after reading the reviews, I still don't see too much to complain about. The only truly bad thing seems to be that if you die against the chapter's boss, you have to play THE WHOLE DAMN CHAPTER AGAIN. Lame. |
