It has similarities to Sudoku, the main one being it's on a grid, but while Sudoku is booring and all you get out of it is a bunch of numbers, Picrosses mostly form pictures, that animate when you finish them. Say it's 5 by 5 and gives you 2 2. Then it goes like **x**. That's a basic example. When it's less clear (Say 5 by 5 with a 4), then you have to use logic, find out by eliminating an end another way, or simply guessing (And perhaps losing 2 minutes normal mode rules) and moving on.

In additon, you start off with 8 skins which are mostly neat, though 2 are kind of plain (Water and Wind ftl), but as you unlock levels you unlock skins as well. The skins allways match the theme of each world.

Yeah; I'm a big fan of Picross puzzles already.

And this game looks unbearably awesome.

=D

I have a whole bunch of puzzles I made on paper that I can't wait to port to DS and share. Everything from Escher-esque patterns to obscure geek humor.
