Well yeah, obviously. I should have stated that I meant console wise, it owns everything, not PC. My bad. |

Ahhhhh, I get you now. Yeah, I think as far as consoles go, the Xbox controller comes out tops as far as FPS games are concerned. The GC one, again due to the oddness of the C-stick was never really that fantastic, and the sheer imprecision of the Dual Shock made aiming the hardest thing in the world. Plus, the Dual Shock's analogue sticks taste weird. |

QFT of course, I did recently get to try Call of Duty 3 for the Wii. Most excellent FPS controls on console with that thing. Best part about it is switching between dynamic and non-dynamic aiming. For nubjubs, dynamic = Pointing at screen and shooting people, non-dynamic = crosshair fixed in middle of screen, remote used sorta like mouse. |

Gamecube > Xbox controller byfar The Gamecube's was more comfortable, the start button was easier to locate, and none of the buttons felt funny. The Xbox's buttons required you to press harder at first (you do get used to it, but still....), the start/back buttons felt weirdly placed, and I thought that the white&black buttons felt funny. HOWEVER: I should point out that occasionally (*cough* Splinter Cell *cough*) the Xbox was better with more buttons, and the analog sticks were round instead of the weird shape of the Gamecube's analog sticks, which worked for shooters better. Now the Xbox 360 is much better, and stands a chance against the Gamecube and PS2/PS3 controllers. Either way, Wii pwns all. |
