Is it just me, or are the controls on the GameCube and the Xbox (first) almost identical? Anyway, which do you think is easier to use? |

I'll just take a break from TNZ...for 6 months...

I think GameCube's are a little easier. The Xbox controller is just a tad too big and it's hard to reach all the buttons IMO. It makes it really hard to play Pac Man World 2 and all my other Xbox games. That's just my opinion though; most people probably have no trouble at all. |

Sounds like you've only used the early Xbox controller, mmm this one. New one's (click) is much smaller and easier to use than the earlier model. Annnnd. Depends what game I'm playing. I find most FPSs, and Action games better with the Xbox. Most Platformers, Arcade types, and Racings games good with Cube. |

The XBOX had the most stupid buttons ever. I mean, black and white? And the controller was huge and all the buttons were spread apart..eh... |

The Xbox S controller is extremely comfortable, and the Xbox 360 Wireless controller is the best traditional controller I've ever used in my life. And yes, and many people stated above, FPSes on the Xbox and 360 own. Except Perfect Dark Zero. That owns nothing. |

The original Xbox controller was a monstrosity. And really, what was the point in that stupid oversized jewel thing? The revised controller was absolutely awesome, though. Felt great, easy to use, nice and light... probably the best controller I've ever used. That's not to say, of course, that the Gamecube's controller wasn't good. Quite the opposite- the GC's controller was ergonomic and a real joy to use. However, I found that perhaps the C stick was a little lame and the Z button was a joke.
Pah, console FPS game control systems are lame. No matter how hard you fine-tune the controller, I always find it to be way too imprecise. As far as aiming goes, nothing beats the sheer precision of a computer mouse. |
