Nitro's note: LM's and such, feel free to see my post on the LM temple. Alrighty, I'm back and boy do I have a lot of suggestions. So get ready, this will take quite a bit. Board wise I think we need a bit of board re-construction. I mean a lot of the boards here are un-used and well deserted. I think we should merge News with Reviews and Previews to make a "Game-Cast" board or something. That way, all news/reviews/previews will be in one convient board. Perhaps just genral Nintendo game discussion and general system discussion would be best. That way, we don't have fourteen sub-forums just floating around. If not, maybe just major systems or franchises like Mario, Zelda, Metroid and Pokemon. Also, retiring the colosseum. The board gets little activity and maybe we can host an official colosseum contest on the TNZ HQ. It will cut down on un-important boards and make the layout look nice and clean. Wi-Fi wise, I think we only need one board. Maybe just a few floated threads for the friend codes and such. Like I said earlier, this would cut down on the numerous subforums we got going on. I think that the Your Boards/HQs, casino, and Land of the Bobs, should be retired. They get no use what so ever and I think the purpose has been served. Also, perhaps making Other Systems a sub-forum to the Nintendo Zone HQ. That should clear everything up board wise. Contests TNZ is in different need of contests. One idea would be a Post of the week. For example, every week the admins go through all the good threads and pick one great thread and award it Post of the week. It can be from any board and perhaps have a Post of the week hall of fame in the announcements board. Maybe the winner can even win a special rank. Also, maybe a new style of SOTW in Egads Gallery. Hosted by Kevin or somebody, the SOTW will remain the same as it did before. However, like before, no prizes will be given out to SOTW just bragging rights. Also, a colosseum contest in the TNZ hq. Every week, a new theme. If you win the colosseum contest three times, you win a special rank known as "Gold Medal". Aside from that, maybe special events. Like a week long celebration on something and what not. Just to keep the mood up. TNZ Online After seeing TBT's site, I think we could make one very similar. Just to post news and such. That could be made very easily and would keep everything organized. Random I think we need a new skin. This one is great and all, but we could always use change of scenery. A new style and banner would make the forums look great. Perhaps a blue-ish theme? Also, after the sucess of Camp Wii...I think we should make some more projects with TBT and Nintendo Forums. Perhaps a Alinos Ruins type forum for mature gamers that are invited. Not everyone can join. It would be like a Nintendo IF after dark, where colorful discussions are allowed. So there is my ideas, what do you think? |

A fourth 'mature' board sounds like an exelent idea. Anyway, it also wouldn't hurt an admin to fix the subforum links.

All good ideas. The mature IF forum is great idea. I grow tired of the "What's Your Favorite..." and "Do you think ______ is good/bad/ugly?" I'd do some of those board changes, but I have to wait untill the other admins agree. |

Back in April, TNZ held a beta test called the Alinos Ruins. It was a special promotional forum for mature gamers. You had to be invited though to get in. The rules were very little, foul language was accepted. Thats what I meant. |
